We cover fearless because we know how daring pets can be. Kai is one such brave buddy.
“Kai was the most terrified little dog when we adopted her. She wouldn't do anything but sit in the corner and shake. She wouldn't take food from you, look at you and she definitely wouldn't let you touch her. When we first met her at the adoption event, she not only peed on my husband when the lady took her out of her crate and handed her to him, but on herself as well. 3 years later, she is doing amazing. She is so sweet, smart, fun and excitable. She'll do just about anything. This photo is us paddleboarding for the first time!" –Christie C.

“We adopted our beautiful Hedwig in Spain and brought him home with us to New York over a year ago. Hedwig is now living with us and Chuck, a Manchester Terrier, in a house with a big garden where they are having the time of their lives running around together. I think it's great how they get along so well, as they were both fully grown when they met. I love them dearly!” –Maria N., White Plains, NY

"I love Sammy so much! I adopted him from a shelter where he had been surrendered because he didn't suit his family's lifestyle. Apparently he spent too much time hiding under the bed. He's a shy cat, but he likes to cuddle and only hides under my bed if I have visitors or if it's too hot for him. Half the time I catch him in the living room lying on his back. Their loss is my gain! I was meant to be this boy's pet mom." Marian L., Pacifica, CA
