ASPCA Pet Health Insurance vs. Petplan
Petplan advertises its "covered for life" guarantee, saying it will cover chronic conditions for a pet as long as there's no break in coverage. However, it's important to understand what requirements customers have to fulfill each year to keep their coverage in force.
With Petplan, customers have to give their pets an annual health check and an annual dental exam. They also have to provide any treatments normally suggested by a veterinarian to prevent illnesses and injuries. Coverage may be cancelled if these requirements aren't met.
