ASPCA Pet Health Insurance was designed by the Hartville Group with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®) to help pet parents afford veterinary care so their pets can live longer, healthier lives. Hartville, which is one of the oldest and largest pet insurance providers in the US along with its subsidiary agency, is the only strategic partner for pet insurance with the ASPCA. Hartville and its subsidiary, Petsmarketing Insurance.com Agency Inc., provide ASPCA Pet Health Insurance as part of this relationship.
Founded in 1866, the ASPCA was the first animal welfare organization in North America, and today is a leading voice for animals in the US with more than 2 million supporters. The ASPCA sees pet insurance as an important way to help pet parents provide veterinary care for their pets. The ASPCA chose Hartville as its strategic partner for pet insurance because of Hartville’s commitment to pet health and to upholding the ASPCA’s standards for the humane treatment of animals.
If your pet has a poison emergency, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center can help. It’s staffed with experts around the clock at 1-888-426-4435. A $65 consultation fee may apply, 90% of which is covered by ASPCA Pet Health Insurance.
