We believe everyone wins when pet parents can give their pets quality veterinary care without worrying about the costs. Pets get the care they need, pet parents aren’t faced with difficult financial choices, and veterinary professionals can focus on providing the best care possible.

But which pet insurance provider is right for your clients and practice? These five questions can help you evaluate the options. If you’d like to learn more, contact our Veterinary Services Department today at 1-877-738-2677 or vets@aspcapetinsurance.com.

97% of our clients would recommend ASPCA Pet Health Insurance to family and friends.1

  1. What affects reimbursements?

ASPCA Pet Health Insurance plans reimburse 90% of covered charges based on the actual veterinary bill. Reimbursements for accidents and illnesses aren’t limited by a benefit schedule, which pays a fixed amount per diagnosis regardless of needed treatments.

We don’t require a per incident deductible, which would reduce the reimbursement for every incident. We have an annual deductible that only needs to be met once per plan year. We also don’t exclude exam fees.

  2.  Is preventive care coverage available?

Preventive care can help make for healthier pets and financially healthy practices. Our customers can add one of our preventive care options to their plan at a low additional cost.

  3.  What does the veterinary staff have to do?

We make it easy for you and your team

    • No networks or referrals required.
    • No need to sign or fill out our claim form.
    • Clients can file claims easily and track them online.
    • We won’t interfere in treatment recommendations.
  4.  Is the plan easy to use for customers?

We work hard to make our plans as easy as possible for customers to use. For instance, they can submit claims conveniently online or complete a simple, one-page claim form and email, fax, or mail it to us with their invoice—whatever works best for them! We also offer a direct deposit option, so reimbursements can go right into their selected bank account.

  5. How much experience does the company have?

Crum & Forster Pet Insurance GroupTM, one of the oldest pet insurance providers in the US, provides ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. We’re the ASPCA®’s only strategic partner for pet insurance and have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (2016). We have the experience and resources to take great care of your clients and their pets!
