You can help your clients handle a pet poison emergency by telling them about the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC). Their trained experts are just a phone call away if they suspect their pet has ingested or been exposed to something poisonous.

Your clients can call them at 1-888-426-4435 any day, any time. A $95 consultation fee may apply, but up to 90% of this charge is covered if the pet is enrolled in ASPCA Pet Health Insurance.

The staff at the APCC has experience in more than 1 million cases involving pesticides, drugs, plants, metals, and other potentially hazardous items. They also have access to an extensive database, which helps them assess concerns and give recommendations quickly.

You can learn more about the APCC by visiting the ASPCA's website.
