Strategic Partnership With The ASPCA
Since 2006, our company has been the only strategic partner for pet insurance with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®).
The ASPCA sees pet insurance as an important way to help pets get the veterinary care they need. The ASPCA, which is the oldest animal welfare organization in North America, chose us as its partner because of the company’s commitment to pet health and its humane coverage philosophy.
Through this relationship, we created ASPCA Pet Health Insurance, which provides coverage that’s in line with the ASPCA’s humane standards. For instance, we don’t cover elective cosmetic procedures such as tail docking, ear cropping, or de-clawing. We do have coverage available for behavioral problems, which is one of the top reasons pets are sent to shelters. And our preventive care options can cover spay or neuter surgery.
We're a founding member of the North American Pet Health Insurance Association (NAPHIA). The association is committed to educating North American pet parents, the general public and the veterinary community about the value and benefits of pet insurance. Members work together to set high standards for the pet insurance industry.
