Vaccination Requirements
With Geico, you must follow your veterinarian’s vaccine recommendations for coverage of certain conditions. Complete Coverage SM does not have any vaccination requirements.
Prescription Food and Supplements
Your veterinarian might recommend prescription food or supplements to help your pet with a particular accident or illness. Complete Coverage SM will reimburse you the eligible expenses for these products when they’re prescribed to treat a covered condition (not for general maintenance or weight management). Geico offers plan options with this coverage, but you’ll have to add it to your base plan and pay an extra add-on cost for it.
Upper Age Limits for Illness Coverage Enrollment
Pets are living longer than ever thanks in part to advances in veterinary care. As pets get older, they can be more prone to ailments, such as arthritis and cancer. That’s why the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance plans do not have any upper age limits for new illness coverage enrollments. Plans provided through Geico only allow pets who are 14 years old or younger to enroll in illness coverage.
Multiple Pet Discount
If you have more than one pet in your household, you can take advantage of a multiple pet discount. Geico offers a 5 to 10% multiple pet discount depending on the state. With the plans we offer, you get a 10% multiple pet discount for each additional pet no matter where you live in the US. These discounts apply to every pet after your most expensive pet.
